Recorder
Recorder is not
responding.
Recorder is powered off.
If lights at the top of the Recorder are
flashing rapidly, the Recorder is hung.
Power on the Recorder by pressing the
hard power switch at the rear of the
Recorder to the
I (On) position.
Cycle power to the Recorder using the
hard power switch at the rear of the
Recorder.
Recorder disc drives will
not open.
The Recorder has had a failure while
processing a job.
Cycle power to the Recorder using the
hard power switch at the rear of the
Recorder.
Recorder’s robotic disc
transporter is not picking
up discs reliably.
The robotic disc transporter is out of
alignment.

Technical Support might have you run
the Robotic Arm Calibration utility,
described in “Calibrating the Robotic
Disc Transport” on page 11-16.
Recorder’s robotic disc
transporter knocks discs
from the printer tray.
The robotic disc transporter is out of
alignment.

Reinstall the Operating System to force
the drive assignment procedure.
Recorder is placing
printed discs back in an
input bin.
The Recorder settings were lost. Run the utility described in “Identifying
the Disc Drives” on page 10-4.
