10. Integrate With Any DICOM Device
As any PACS Administrator knows, DICOM is never easy to
manage. With a multitude of storage and transfer options, the
seemingly simple task of sending data across a network can
sometimes become a nightmare. Virtua provides an easy solution,
supporting multiple transfer syntaxes ‘out of the box’ as well as
every syntax and storage class customisable, configuring Virtua
for DICOM connectivity couldn’t be easier.
11. Remote Internet Connectivity
Virtua’s user interface can be accessed from anywhere within
the same internal network using widely supported web browsers
such as Internet Explorer
®
and Mozilla Firefox
®
. This built in web
server functionality allows users to remotely control and mirror all
functions provided on the touch screen from a web browser. An
unlimited number of users can access the system which is safe
guarded by security and user access functionality features.
12. Unique Smart Drive
A Smart Drive stores all of the Virtua’s settings which can be
swapped between units if a failure occurs or a replacement is
being installed.
It’s simple and easy to remove the Smart Drive from one unit and
utilise the settings on the replacement unit reducing overall down
time, re-configuration is simply unnecessary.
13. IHE and PDI Compliance
Virtua fully complies with all IHE PDI compliance standards and
guidelines.
14. Scheduled Archive and On-Board
Storage Capacity
The Virtua includes useful on-board SATA hard drives allowing
for a cache of patient studies to be temporally stored safely and
easily.
When Virtua’s hard drive reaches full capacity, the system
automatically prunes by replacing the older studies with the most
recent.
Virtua’s archiving allows for a disc to be published including
all studies at a predetermined interval on selected media. The
automatic archiving solution can be fully customised to operate at
user selected days and / or times.
